Step 1: Request to have Web space created on the course Web site by contacting:

Step 2: Develop your Course Web site or contact e-Learning at (239) 590-7082 for assistance.


Faculty Personal/Professional Web sites

FGCU provides faculty with space for personal Web sites on http://faculty.fgcu.edu/.

Step 1: Request to have Web space created on the faculty Web site by contacting:

Step 2: Find your Web site. Your Web site will be located at:

http://faculty.fgcu.edu/_username_
(Where _username_ is your FGCU username)

Step 3: Create your Web site.

You can use Microsoft Word to create and update your basic faculty Web page. View the FGCU Office 2007 online tutorials for instructions (Coming Soon).

If you are interested in using a dedicated HTML editor, here are some suggestions:
(NOTE: For help with these editors, refer to the respective programs Help files or support section of their websites)

Page Breeze (This is a free HTML editor for Windows)
Mozilla Seamonkey (This is a suite of tools that includes Composer, a free HTML editor)
Nvu (This is a free HTML editor for Mac and Windows)

Step 4: Upload your Web site

Save your Web page to your faculty Web space. For help with this step, contact:
