Making a Powerpoint Presentation

Six-by-Six Rule: No more than six lines and no more than six words per line.

Use colors and graphics to make slides more interesting.

Each slide should reflect one idea.

Replace words with images.

Point to the slide with a pointer; do not stare at the screen or read from the slide on the screen--maintain eye contact with audience.

Use upper- and lower-case letters for the body of the text. All caps are difficult to read and should be used to denote heading or emphasis.
