Here we have posted a running summary of the activities in class for each day, along with links to any Maple tutorials or files used, so you can download them to disk. Just click on the day you are interested in and you will be taken to the summary of what went on in class that particular day. At the bottom of the page we have collected together all homework assignments, and solutions as they become available. If you are working from home you will need to use a plug-in or helper application to view the LaTeX and/or DVI files.

Homework and Tests

Here we have copies of homework assignments, tests, and solutions as they become available. Many of the homework sets, and all the solutions, are posted in two versions: as LaTeX DVI files, and as native TeX code. In order to view either of these formats, you need to install a plug-in. For TeX files, probably the best is IBM's Techexplorer, which can be downloaded from their Alphaworks software site. The drawback is that Techexplorer, as of this writing, cannot print files.

For DVI files, you have a couple of options. One is a freeware program called DVIWIN, which I have assembled and set up for download. It must be installed as a helper application under Netscape, so it takes a few more steps than a plug-in. Instructions are located on the download page.  A second option is DVIscope, which is a new product available from Personal TeX, Inc. I haven't used it, so I cannot vouch for its quality.
