The College of Arts and Sciences at Florida Gulf Coast University is strongly committed to excellence in undergraduate studies, promoting critical and creative thinking and effective communication. Ampersand, an inclusive journal that publishes a wide range of undergraduate work such as creative writing, artwork, research articles, and essays, serves as a vehicle to recognize and encourage a diverse range of outstanding student work in the College of Arts and Sciences. The journal also provides an avenue to share this work both inside and outside the College and the University, emphasizing the importance of these activities to the students' academic experience.
